In The Hague, we are upgrading around 1,800 lockers across six swimming pools. No more coins or keys, but fully cashless operation via central terminals.
Swimming Paradise De Bonte Wever.
At De Bonte Wever, we installed over 350 smart lockers. No coins, no keys. Visitors reserve and operate a locker via a terminal and self-chosen PIN code. Upon departure, the locker is automatically released.
Our Lockers.
Our lockers are made of 10 mm thick HPL (High Pressure Laminate), making them extra strong and water-resistant. Ideal for the humid environments of swimming pools and wellness centres. Optionally, they can be finished with an antibacterial coating for additional hygiene. The durable construction ensures a long lifespan, and custom designs can be created to fully integrate the lockers into your space.
Our lockers are available in a wide range of wood and colour finishes to match the design of your swimming pool or wellness centre. From neutral tones to vibrant, branded designs through custom wrapping. This allows the lockers to seamlessly integrate into your interior.
Our lockers can be fully customised — in height, width, depth, and layout — to perfectly fit your swimming pool or wellness centre. Optionally, you can choose a sloped top or custom finishing for an even cleaner appearance.
Smartlocking.
Keynius is our smart locking system. Both the software and hardware are developed in-house and continuously improved based on numerous real-world use cases. This enables us to offer a complete and thoroughly tested locker solution for swimming pools and wellness centres. The system provides multiple configuration options to perfectly match your requirements, including push-to-open or pop-to-open functionality.
In case of a power or data outage, lockers can always be opened manually through a mechanical emergency access point located in the technical compartment on top of the locker unit. Thanks to the use of local caching, the lockers remain operational even when the data connection is temporarily lost. These features guarantee full continuity, allowing the administrator to focus on restoring power or network connectivity.
For swimming pools and wellness centres, Keynius offers the following features:

At the terminal, the user selects a PIN code (or other authentication method), chooses the locker size if applicable, makes payment, and receives a locker assignment. With the combination of locker number and PIN code, the locker can be opened and closed throughout the visit.
As an administrator, you can manage lockers remotely via the mobile app or online portal. Lockers can be opened and managed whenever required. The dashboard provides insights into locker usage patterns with historical and real-time reports, as well as turnover data and configurable pricing options.
Keynius operates on a highly secure Microsoft Azure platform and is ISO 27001 certified.
